Description:
The Ashen Ones, those who attempted to kindle the First Flame and failed. Only to be dragged back into the world of the living once more, as a desperate last chance to rekindle the flame. This time, a group of Ashen Ones are called upon, with the hopes that their combined souls may bring the light greater fuel. The players must survive this cycle of the Fire, and make their way to the Kiln, so that the First Flame may continue on forever. In Chapter 1, the Ashen Ones awaken for the first time, and must gather souls, equipment, and strength from the lesser foes, and take the advice and assistance from the Craftsman, the Firekeeper, and a Forsaken Ranger, in order to take on the first of their greater challenges. They can only make it through to the Black Road if they can overcome Slattern, the Wayward Hound.

The Mindmage Ascendancy adventure campaign will take your characters all across athas. There are plenty of opportunities to discover and encounter a variety of creatures both in the urban sprawl of the city-states, deep into the savage majesty of the desert wastelands and beyond. This event is an opportunity to experience one adventure in this campaign.

This is a fast-paced funnel-type event where players are 0-Level PCs in a series of quick encounters that all occur during an arena festival when the unthinkable happens! Players use cooperative tactics, role-playing or other creative methods to escape the chaos. PC deaths can be frequent, but respawning as a new PC is unlimited. Groups of PCs working together will have a better chance at surviving by pooling resources/pulling together and perhaps escape the arena or at least survive until things have calmed down. All Players are awarded with a Dark Sun themed miniature and may also win other prizes to include an 'I Survived' T-shirt.
