Established in the year of our Lord 2016, Kittens Slay Dragons is a new band that was founded by Sarah Donner after a bad day where she smashed her ukulele into a cat. The cat was fine and metaphorical. Lo and behold, her synth pop band was formed with an array of drum machines, synthesizers, and a husband eager to be in a rad band before he dies. The band plays upbeat songs about cats, depression, games, and Supernatural. They have been likened to CHVRCHES and Depeche Mode. The band released their debut album Big Big Heart this year.
