President Lincoln has just formally dedicated the Gettysburg National Cemetery, honoring the heroes of the Union's greatest victory as workers diligently gather their remains from across the battlefield for solemn consecration. But something strange is happening -- in many places where the slain soldiers fell, the searchers have found empty space, or else gruesome unspeakable assemblages of human remains. Lincoln gathers a team of trusted agents to discover the awful truth behind the mystery. This scenario explores the real history of Gettysburg through the lens of Lovecraftian mystery.
