Led by a navy deserter, a band of scavengers in a small Martian airship have managed to make a decent living selling salvage while avoiding Imperial scrutiny. How long can it last, though?
Long Description:
"After a catastrophic crash in the outer deserts of Mars, Solomon Gregg, once captain of the Gunboat, HMS Redsands, left the military to marry a Martian woman. After two years, he and his wife assembled a band of Martians, Humans, and others to crew a kite to fly scavenging sorties into the desert to help provide for family and village. Although Battling bandits is fairly common and unconcerning to a veteran of Her Majesty’s Royal Navy, they have been careful to avoid other navy steam vessels. How long can that luck hold?
