A tactical card game with board deformation. Take control of a cyberpunk crew and direct your team of runners across a virtual reality network to steal your opponents data before they steal yours.
Long Description:
The core game mechanic is "hacking". Areas of the board are defined by connecting groups of same-colored hexes into "subnets". Both players can hack the board to change the color of any space on their turn, reshaping it as you play. Runners have infinite range within their subnets and are slowed by moving into new subnets. An enemy that sits across the board may be completely unreachable or totally exposed - you will control which. Each runner in your crew contributes a unique passive and active ability to your strategy and is equipped with a unique rig which will determine speed and strength when connected to virtual reality. Cards in hand effect the game in two ways. You can play them from your hand for their main text as in most card games but they are also flipped to determine runner damage and can contribute additional flip effects to attacks.
