Venus draws people in. It really shouldn't, for the Emerald Planet is a deadly lure. The jungles are filled with deadly plants and animals, the climate is oppressively hot and humid, and the very terrain might shift under your feet and kill you in a thousand ways. The rag-tag crew of the Blackjack takes any job to keep fuel in the tanks, even if it is a trip to an archeological dig deep in the mist-covered jungles of Venus.
