A teacher & parent discussion for helping to understand how to find & run games for kids (Board games, card games, RPGs).
Long Description:
Given the current education system, and how much play children are NOT receiving, it is important to understand how we can help in this area. This is a seminar set up to help parents and teachers find games, run games, and change up games to help their classroom and children. This is focusing on younger children (Ages 3-1st grade). A variety of games will be presented, ideas given on how to use them, and questions will be answered from the attendees. This will be a hands on and interactive seminar. The goals is to give a good base for finding and using these tools, getting information to parents and teachers, and learning why the skills used during gaming are important life skills for future use.
