The graduated cut of the championship preliminaries continues with 3 additional Swiss rounds.
Long Description:
The tournament will consist of three Swiss-paired rounds made up of the Top 24 players of each Flight and up to 8 additional players that tie with the 24th placer. Any additional ties will be broken by strength-of-schedule. This will create a tournament of between 48 and 64 players. The Top 8 placers will proceed to a single-elimination final immediately following the end of the preceding three rounds. Any ties for 8th place will be broken by strength-of-schedule and extended strength-of-schedule, as necessary.
