You have been on the run for many days. Time is a blurred mosaic of fear and adrenalin. Rations exhausted, water skins nearly dry. A full night’s rest seems like something out of a fairy tale. As daylight fades you come to a ruined manor house perched on a cliff above a darkening sea. Its rusted gate stands invitingly ajar. Could this place provide sanctuary, a chance to rest and plot a path to safety? Could it be a stronghold where you make your final stand? Or do worse dangers lurk within? The hunters are at your heels - what will you do?
