The Top 64 players of the North American Championship Preliminaries (Top 32 of both Flights) will face off in Swiss finals until a champion is determined.
Long Description:
The Finals will consist of 6 rounds of Swiss pairing, followed by a cut to double-elimination Top 8. The winner will claim the title of Champion and will receive free entry to the World Championship on the weekend of November 6-9, 2014 in Roseville, Minnesota, as well as a 1st Round Bye. The times listed for this event include only the swiss-paired rounds. If you advance to the Top 8, be prepared to play additional rounds after the preliminaries conclude. The first round of the Finals will begin promptly at 12:00pm.
