It is a tournament and there are specific victory conditions and time limits that are not part of the OTB rules. You may bring up to 2 partners per side to a maximum of 3 players per side. If you are a solo player in the event, you may be paired up with another player or two to accommodate all players wanting to play into the event. Once team has been selected, you may not change teammates at any time during the tournament. Tournament consists of 2 qualifying rounds. Then the 4 winning teams of the qualifying games play in the semi-final single elimination round on Saturday and then those 2 winners play in finals on Sunday. The Setting: On 27 November 1940, the Italian fleet attempted to intercept and stop a British convoy and its Royal Navy protection from reaching and resupplying the Island of Malta in the Mediterranean. Italian and British cruisers and battleships engaged in a running gun battle for almost an hour before both forces disengaged as neither side was able to obtain a significant advantage.
