Play this Hayao Miyazaki/Studio Ghibli-inspired RPG with the original author! We'll create characters who are drawn into a fantastical world, where we must work together to get back home.
Description:
I designed The Whispering Road with mechanics to evoke the specific themes and ethics of a Miyazaki movie. The characters don't have to fight to win (though they certainly can), the mechanics encourage cooperation, and the system supports a wide range of abilities that don't get in each others' way. I'll teach you the system as we play. Kids welcome, too! I'll bring all the materials you need, but if you want to bring your own, you'll need an index card and a couple d6s and d8s.

Go on a three-day tour of human history, traveling thousands of years in a time machine to experience great moments from our past in this drafting set-collection game.
Description:
The game takes place over three rounds, each representing one day of your trip. Each day, you visit a series of historical events, spending a different number of hours at each. On each turn, you choose to visit one historical event, and spend a certain number of hours doing it. Doing so will yield benefits, like checking off items on your itinerary for points, and earning Time Crystals so you can bend the space-time continuum on future turns. Along the way, you’ll also score points for visiting historical events in chronological order. The player with the most points after three rounds wins.
