On route to a Sigma 629er to deliver some supplies, you happen upon a distress signal. Your mandate states that upon identification of a ship in distress you must divert course and render aid. You may not like it, but that’s the oath you swore when you signed the contract. Reaching the ship you find it adrift, close to Fejoran space. That shouldn’t be a problem since the Union is friends with the Fejorans. You can see life support on board is good, but something is frizzing the scan for life signs.
