A co-founder of Studio Cosplay will be giving a presentation on cosplay from head to toe. Items discussed will include wig styling; different armor techniques, including using Worbla, Wonderflex, EVA foam, and FOSSHAPE; designing your own costume; and 3D printing. Samples of some materials will be passed around to participants. Presenter bio: Stefanie Hackenberg has been cosplaying since 1998 and has been featured on prominent media outlets such as CNN and io9. The first 40 minutes or so of the event walks you through this information and the first few turns of the game, then you play the rest of the hour out while GMs are available to help and answer questions. This is the ideal starting point for new players to both Leviahans or even the hobby of tabletop/miniature type games. Once you have completed this event players are encouraged to keep learning by playing in the Battletech Grinder. This event teaches you the current full rules of Battletech found in the rulebook Total Warfare. All supplies will be provided.
