The King is dead! Long live the King! Which King? You decide?
Description:
King Miginath is dead! Never of good health, he died unexpectedly while at Jedes Keep holding summer court. Messengers have fetched most of the key nobility of Kaldor to Tashal for his funeral. Following the funeral, Clan Elendsa will meet to choose a new Clan leader. There is no clear heir and the King did not leave a will naming a successor. Once a clan leader is chosen, the tenants-in-chief of Kaldor must swear an oath of loyalty to the new King. Lines are being drawn. Factions are forming. The Earls and Barons are mustering their summer levies. Every vote is vital. Will there be a peaceful transition of power or will it be civil war? The people of Kaldor await the choice of the Succession Council.
