A jungle world crawling with Lacerauns (dinosaur like creatures), Leviathan is a popular destination for tourists. But when Sonny Eclipse, the Axiom’s most beloved lounge singer, crashed in the dangerous wilds while accompanying a tour group, an ace team of JumpCorp operatives is called in for a daring rescue! Players in this game will get to choose from one of the following Savage’d characters: Buzz Lightyear, Stitch, Hiro and Baymax, Wreck-it-Ralph and Vanellope, Anna and Elsa. This is going to be a fun and light family-friendly adventure, and will be the perfect event for parents looking to enjoy a game with their kids.

Join presenters Nathan Gandy (Psychologist, Lead Instructor at Crowder College) and Ben Barnes (Second Chief of The Shawnee Tribe, Director of Shawnee Language Preservation & Education) as they discuss the need for a greater cultural representation in gaming and popular media. This lecture will outline the psychological and sociological benefits of having more diverse characters and scenarios, as well as gaming’s ability to help educate participants on difficult or foreign concepts due to cultural differences. This discussion will touch on gender, race, sexuality and other cultural representations in gaming media.
