Our most popular event: just play Battletech in a casual setting. Newly revised this year, the Grinder now consists of 5 different levels of Battlemech destruction!
Description:
The Battletech Grinder is our most popular Battletech event. It is a continuously running event during the convention. So, feel free to sign-up for as many or as few blocks as fit into your schedule. All ability levels are welcome but if you have never played Battletech before it is recommended that you play in Battletech Bootcamp first. In the Grinder you start with the lowest level of mech which consists of the most basic equipment and then when you die you move up to the next level that contains mechs with slightly more advanced equipment. Through this progression players learn how to use and interact with all the common equipment in Battletech and many of the most popular mechs. This year the Grinder has been revised to include a 5th level so that even more mechs are represented. Total Warfare rules exclusively are used on the tables and all supplies are provided.
