Description:
In this sequel to Empires of the Void, two teams of players build up galactic empires in a struggle to control the galaxy. Do dice discourage role-playing? How about character sheets full of numbers? How about scenarios where we are attacked by hordes of blood-thirsty demons? Come talk about role-playing.
Description:
We have been running convention events since the mid 1980's. We've run table tops and LARPs, single sessions and tournaments. We have some ideas about how to discourage killing everything that moves. We will discuss dice and how to keep them from taking over. We will talk about how to design a character sheet that encourages players to talk to each other. We will take up scenario design and how to create a session with some puzzles to solve, some monsters to fight, and some deals to negotiate.
