A strange fog, The Miasma, devoured Europe and warped it into an otherworldly jungle-swamp where mutated crazed inhabitants worship strange gods and monstrous creatures roam. The discovery of ancient ruins points to strange and inhuman civilizations and the development of dangerous innovations. Due to the Miasma, the USR collapsed; a global communist state became a nostalgic dream. All powerful nations exist in state of Cold War with the others, intrigue and brutal conflict are a deadly constant.
