Generations ago, the good king Arthuur banised the demon Ragdrasil, confining him in a subteranean fortress. Over the centuries a death cult has sprung up, worshiping the demon and planning for his return. It was said thast only the blood of Arthuur could free Ragdrasil. Toward that, the death cult has kidnapped Arthuur's descendant, the princess Gwenifer. Her father, King Dagon, utterly unlike his ancestor, decided that he needed adventurers to send into the depths to confront the cult and rescue his daughter. To motivate them, he poisoned them, promising them the antidote if and when his daughter was returned safely. The unwittingly duped heroes find themselves exploring an ancient undergound fortress, pursuing death cultist through the darkness....

Cedarwatch had been besieged by the forces of the Overlord for three weeks before the outer wall was finally breached. The knights and soldiers led by Duke Baltus surged to plug the gap, but were overwhelmed the enemy forces.
Now, the Overlord's forces are sweeping through the keep rounding up resistance and searching for the duke's heirs. The duke's castellan has asked you few remaining men-at-arms and apprentices to escape the crumbling castles with the surviving heirs. If it can be reached, there is a secret passage that leads beyond the mountains to safety, but that ancient path holds its own dangers.

After a pre-determined amount of time the alien invasion starts, and you will then discover which one of your fellow corporations has been secretly working with the aliens!
