Born and raised during the Depression, the Greatest Generation of superheroes rises following WWII and beyond. In 1930, one of the first paranormals gave his life so that future heroes could receive the gifts of the mysterious Whisper. Now, in 1946, the children of his surviving teammates stand beside their mentors as new men and women are chosen. But why did Whisper wait until after the war was over? And of all the people to choose from in this world, how could the call have gone out to a Nazi soldier? Will this new team be able to work together? How will they shape the future?
