There are several new and older role playing games for kids available today, and it’s now easier than ever to establish a gaming club at your library. This seminar will present a number of role playing games targeted specifically for kids between the ages of 4 and 14, information on how to advertise, establish, and keep a gaming club active at your library, options for purchasing these games (hard copy vs electronic), and how to keep things lively without losing control. Many of these games can be linked to literature, classic and/or recent. Presented by Beth Pintal (Librarian, Indianapolis Public Library) and Kyle Schenetzke (former Teen Librarian, Hamilton County Public Library).
