The merchant guild from Anchor's Home has called Little Feet Inc. to investigate an unusual set of burglaries.
Description:
The merchant guild from Anchor's Home has called Little Feet Inc. to investigate an unusual set of burglaries. Due to some loose tongues, the incidents have been leaked publicly and the populace has started to nickname the criminal “Gimcrack Jack.” Much to the chagrin of the merchants, the character has even become a reoccurring character of a local children’s show. A crafty gnome has taken advantage of the recent publicity from the thefts and turned the character into a bumbling buffoon who couldn’t tell a diamond from a jagged piece of glass. Gimcrack Jack’s fame is growing not so much from the crimes committed, but by becoming the new favorite marionette among his many in stock. Although his patrons are enjoying the show, how long will it take the real criminal to take vengeance on the puppet master; or, better yet, who is the next merchant to be victimized?
A wave of abductions & killings has struck Absalom, & when a Pathfinder falls prey to this criminal, the PCs set out to find the culprit & solve the so-called Rose Street Revenge.
Description:
Pathfinder 2nd edition playtest rules.
A repeatable Pathfinder Society quest pack designed for 1st-level.
Pregenerated characters provided.
Less than a year ago, Absalom fended off a siege of demonflesh constructs and the living dead. The siege lord freed any slave aiding in Absalom’s defense. Since then, the city’s slave trade mostly disappeared and many groups, including the Pathfinder Society, welcomed Absalom’s newest citizens. Recently, several ex-slaves turned up dead and a few more disappeared. The Society doesn’t often investigate serial killings, but one of its newest recruits is the latest victim. Now, a band of Pathfinders must follow the clues and end the threat.
“The Rose Street Revenge” is a series of three quests, averaging 60 minutes each and playable in any order, followed by a finale.
Written by Leo Glass, Thurston Hillman, Joe Pasini, and Linda Zayas-Palmer.
