The government of Amun Tull has declared your group pirates and sent navy warships to capture, sink and execute you. You must escape or fight your way to friendly territories in the Sea of Cablana where you will be safe. As the name implies, Dark Ages is a world populated by mead halls, barbarian chieftains, elf-haunted forests, goblin-infested mines, lonely bogs, stony barrows, and more. The ruins of a more civilized imperial age can be found next to unthinkably ancient stone circles and forgotten cairns.
Players whose characters have survived The Raiders of Caer Carrog will be given the option of importing that character into this adventure, along with all the treasure the character has amassed. Otherwise, pregenerated 2nd-level characters will be provided.
