They have used their magic to ward the woods from humanoids and predatory animals, allowing those creatures that live on plants and insects to flourish in a cooperative setting. Animals that live within the Woods find themselves with increased intelligence, similar to the awakened spell. The Woods have been a haven for these small animals for centuries and it has enabled them to thrive together in peace and harmony. Until one day a fox walks in.

Luckily today is the day of the great Sump Festival in honor of Hofhern, the local demigoddess of farms and abundance, and the whole town is teeming with livestock, and locals dressed for the day as farmyard animals. Armed with a group of extremely convincing disguises, a passing ability to speak Dwarven, and their wits and might, you head into dangerous adventure!
