You are members of the imperial special forces group, Manus Legis. For this mission, a merchant caravan has disappeared and ghosts have been seen in the area. Can you put them to rest?
Description:
This level 4 event is set in the Pax Lexque campaign setting. Characters are members of an elite special forces group sent to deal with unexplained problems left over from a magical war. This mission will take them to the village of Merhoffen to get to the bottom of a haunting that threatens a vital trade route.
Strange events attract strange people. Generations of the curious have wondered what the Mothman was trying to say. There are some who spoke directly to that alien intelligence and were changed by it.
Description:
Set in Point Pleasant, WV, in December of 1967. In the days leading up to the Silver Bridge collapse. John Keel and others have noted that these alien intelligences often choose to communicate with people on the fringes of society. The liminal people. The ones at the crossroads. What if the Mothman or the related entities spoke to them? Does being that close to something so inhuman always lead to madness?
Every generation of 0-lvl younglings tests themselves on "The Rite of Passage:" surviving in the Wild, and more importantly, each bringing back to the tribe one functioning artifact of the Ancients.
