After initially refusing a morally treacherous offer for a rare ogham, the Demorthèn Loeg reconsiders as the village of Dearg becomes endangered. You act as the Demorthèn’s envoy to meet with a reclusive Osag clan at an annual gathering deep within the mountains of Mòr Roimh. The first half of the adventure features the dangerous trip up the river Pezdhour accompanied by emissaries of the Church. The second focuses on the investigation of the Hanging Vale and any attempts at resolution with Ansgar Clan of Osags.

Dark Gothic allows 2-6 players to each take on the role of a unique monster-hunting Hero, collecting Allies and Gear to aid them in their journeys while they root out evil and hunt supernatural creatures back to their lairs. Players must hunt down a series of increasingly difficult Villains before the land is consumed in shadow. Heroes must work cooperatively as a group to stop the Villains from overwhelming the land, but there can be only one top monster hunter amongst them when the dust clears and the final victory total is gathered.
Dark Gothic includes 8 different Heroes to play, each with their own unique special ability and starting deck, 9 challenging Villains to face off with, and over 320 game cards, as well as the deadly Omen Die. Simple to learn and addictive to play, with a 60 minute game time, Dark Gothic is perfect for new gamers and deck-building veterans alike!
