The graduated cut of the championship preliminaries continues with 2 additional Swiss rounds.
Description:
The tournament will consist of two Swiss-paired rounds, of the Top 24 of the Championship preliminaries and up to 12 additional players that tie with the 24th placer. Any additional ties will be broken by strength-of-schedule.
The Top 8 placers will proceed to a double-elimination final immediately following the end of the preceding two rounds.
Any ties for 8th place will be broken by strength-of-schedule and extended strength-of-schedule, as necessary.

The Light Side & Dark Side of the Force clash in the North American Championship! Prizes for the top tier as well as participation prizes will be awarded.
Description:
Tournament registration closes at 2:45pm on Friday, August 5. Round One of the Swiss Pairing will begin promptly at 3:00pm. To compete, each player must bring one Light Side deck and one Dark Side deck (both sleeved), and provide a written or printed deck list for each deck, ready to be inspected by our TOs for tournament legality. In addition to decks, players must also a Death Star dial, a Balance of the Force token, and tokens for damage, shields, and focus. The times listed for this event include only the preliminary rounds. If you advance to the graduated cut, be prepared to return on Saturday, August 6, for additional tournament rounds. Casual tournament of Fantasy Flight's X-Wing miniatures game. 100 points a squad. Swiss rounds, standard rules. Prizes TBA. Must provide your own ships. Please bring 3x3 game mats if you have them.
Description:
This will be a casual tournament, meaning newer players are welcome and encouraged. This is not a sanctioned event. Glory and a ship are the likely prize to the winner. You will have to provide your own 100 point single faction squad of ships. Standard Fantasy Flight tourney rules. Swiss rounds, so everybody who joins will get at least three games worth of play. Depending on scoring and time there will likely be a playoff round between the top two scorers. We are running this event on Sunday specifically because other than the dealer hall, there typically aren't a lot of events going on the last day. We should have plenty of room, so come join us and finish off Gen Con 2016 with a pew pew and kaboom!
