Join the Chimera Group to investigate the disappearance of two Roma children and nefarious activities by The Black Lodge in this Welcome to Grimsbury one-shot. Pregenerated characters to be provided.
Description:
In the closing year of World War Two, the English government chartered a new operating unit in their Ministry of Defense called “The Chimera Group”. This group exists outside of normal SOP and borrows its operatives from the military, the OSS, academia and even civilian life. The operatives are brought in, trained and then returned to their day to day lives until activated for a casefile. You have been activated. Several Roma children have gone missing in the Grimsbury region and this coincides with increased chatter around activities being carried out by the Black Lodge faction in the area. You are to investigate the disappearances of the children and see if they have any relationship to the Black Lodge and their dark rituals and agenda. We will review the game mechanics, hand out pre-generated characters and jump right into the action in this one-shot adventure.
Choose Your Own Adventure: How to Help Students Lead Their Education
Summary:
Learn how to teach the course objectives while letting students pick how they accomplish them. Stop struggling to choose what to keep and cut. It’s time to let your students take charge and choose.
Description:
“Choose Your Own Adventure” books were some of my favorites. The author gave options and the reader got to pick, create a story based on their curiosity and desire. So, why could I not do the same for my students? The pandemic hit midway through the term, with many projects and learning objectives to go, and I couldn’t teach it all. Or could I? Students would be disappointed if I cut their top picks. So, scrambling to re-imagine my course with my students’ feelings in mind changed the way I teach forever. In 2020, I adapted all of the projects online by creating a system for them to select their pathway from several options. Now, utilizing Gamification and Gardner’s Theory of Multiple Intelligences, learn ways to facilitate students leading their own educational journey, which increases engagement and retention. Format includes presentation, discussion, and workshop of your own materials

You're no hero. You're a street sweeper. A hired gun. This month it's your job to clean up New Terminus for the Christmas season. Gear up and get out there!
Description:
'Tis the season in New Terminus... But the hordes of street gangs are neither holly or jolly. Dante's hell riders are restless, and rumor has it that it's because the Protofurs have kidnapped Dante's Daughter Videllia! The NTPD doesn't have funding to do a raid on the Protofurs' usual hangout spots, and even if they did... Who knows where Videllia could be? That's where you come in. You and your crew are members of a mercenary peace force dubbed ""The Street Sweepers"". You clean up what other crews don't have the courage to, and you do it economically to boot! New Terminus' final hope of having a happy holiday season rests on your shoulders. GEAR UP!
Session features open world city crawl, voice acted NPCs, Cyber Crawl Classics and homebrew mechanics that make vehicle and ranged combat more fun than ever. All experience levels welcome!
Test your knowledge of Christmas lore and pop culture to save Santa.
Description:
Your solstice revelry at the local pub is interrupted by Jack Skillington. "Please, can you help my friend Santa? I can't go myself, slight misunderstanding you see, and I'm not quite welcome ..." This event is roleplay and combat balanced. The more Christmas lore you know the less combat you will need! Originally written for my own kids, anyone who loves Christmas should have a good time.
