A twist on the game Mafia. There are a certain number of werewolves/Seer/ Mayor. Werewolves pick a player to kill, townspeople guess who is a werewolf & decide whom to lynch.
Description:
"Are You a Werewolf?" is a twist on the original game, "Mafia." There are a predetermined number of werewolves, a Seer, and a Mayor. Every night, the Werewolves pick someone to kill. When day comes, the townspeople try to guess who is a werewolf and decide on a person to lynch. The Werewolves win if they kill enough Townspeople to even the number of Werewolves and Townspeople ( who will kill the remaining villagers outright ) And the Townspeople win if they successfully execute all werewolves. What players should bring: Cards will be dealt and provided. No additional material is required.
Trapped in the old mansion, cultists lurk among the investigators. Death comes each night. Who will emerge from the storm? A new Mafia/Werewolf-style game, with a 1920s Lovecraftian twist.

This is a chance to play & learn some of these games; allowing for a discovery of different styles of play & design not typically seen in the U.S. market. Most Gen Con attendees are familiar with games by English-language designers. Many of us are even savvy when it comes to popular German board games. However, our experiences may not include games with a different look or feel found in gaming communities around the world. We might play games of one kind or another which bring us to a distant land or borrow unfamiliar themes - but how many were designed by someone from there? This is an opportunity for gamers to experience some of these games from around the world, bringing together a sampling of what gaming is like outside of our usual community.
