If you own the game and want to help make this voyage possible please buy a “GM” ticket for this event and bring your copy of the game to Gen Con. This event is not a demo or tutorial; the game will not be taught to new players. Please have your copy of the game ready to play including having assembled the BattleShip. If you GM this event you will leave with a prototype of the new game system that is featured in the 2nd Kickstarter. All GMs and Players will also receive a special thank-you gift from AEG for supporting the Dead Reckoning community!

A special preview of the new game system in that Kickstarter will be revealed at this event! What is Dead Reckoning? Dead Reckoning is a 4X Card Crafting Game of High Seas Adventure In Dead Reckoning, you choose your path to victory. Do you want to explore deep into the unknown? Do you want to settle uninhabited islands and build wealth? Or do you want to become a high seas pirate and take what you need? Whichever strategy you choose, you’ll need to be on the lookout for deep sea terrors, potential trading partners, and ambushes.

Players will be put in a small weakened colony of survivors that must overcome the hardships that come with being in a world where most of humanity has become dead or diseased, flesh-craving monsters.
Description:
Players are working together toward one common victory condition, but for each individual player to achieve victory, they must also complete their personal secret objective, which could relate to a psychological tick that's fairly harmless to most others in the colony, a dangerous obsession that could put the main objective at risk, a desire for sabotage of the main mission, or (worst of all) vengeance against the colony! Games could end with all players winning, some winning and some losing, or all players losing. Work toward the group's goal, but don't get walked all over by a troublemaker who's looking out only for their own interests!
