Can the Rebels destroy the Death Star, or will the Imperials obliterate the Rebel Base on Yavin 4? This epic scenario, with 3D models, is based on a variant of Dagobah Dave's Trench Run.
Description:
The Rebels have found the Death Star plans and identified a hidden weakness. Can they destroy the Death Star, or will the Imperials rewrite Star Wars history and destroy the Rebel Base on Yavin 4? This scenario recreates the iconic assault on the Death Star, and features the Red and Gold Squadrons as they assault the Death Star and make their trench runs hoping to send a proton torpedo down the exhaust port. This epic scenario will be played on a 3’ x 6’ magnetic Warmat, and features large 3D turbolasers. It uses a slightly modified ruleset based on Biff Denzer’s variant of Dagobah Dave’s “Trench Run” as posted on Boardgamegeek.com (see link).

Rebels escort a covert slicer team to secure intelligence on the Imperial forces nearby. Fly a pre-made fighter or bring your Rebel pilot/ship. X-Wing experience desired, no HotAC experience needed.

Join a squad of Rebel fighters in their attempt to cover a covert team of slicers inserted into a comm relay station. With enough time, the slicer team will identify the proper channel and reroute it for the Rebellion to securely monitor the activities of Imperial forces in the surrounding area. Prior X-Wing experience needed, but no experience with the Heroes of the Aturi Cluster (HotAC) system is needed. We will teach you the finer points of this cooperative, RPG style of play for X-Wing. All materials will be provided, including pre-configured Rebel fighters available to fly this mission. If you happen to be experienced with HotAC and already have a pilot/character, please feel free to bring them to the event and fly them. Experience Points (XP) will be pooled for all players to share and may be used to upgrade your pilot/ship for other HotAC missions our group is hosting.
