The Babbage Engine, a machine of enormous size and computing power has been programmed for a generation by an order of women hand picked by Countess Lovelace.
Now one of them has been found murdered inside the machine. Was it a foreign agent or a spurned lover? And what does this all have to do with advanced orbital mechanics?

Description:
The object of the game for the villagers is to gently persuade the adventurers that their attitude and presence in the town is not appreciated. The use of tar and feathers and a wooden rail to run the adventurers out of town is not our of consideration. The object for the adventurers is to teach the recalcitrant villagers a much needed lesson about the virtues of hospitality. Murder and looting them and burning their peaceful village to its very foundations is not out of consideration.
