This workshop will highlight how to find and utilize the quirky history, unsung heroes, and spooky spots of your own hometown to create characters, adventures, and settings that will thrill your players. Well talk about utilizing physical structures and landmarks so your players will be reminded of your adventures as they pass that haunted water tower. You also have the chance to lift up incredible local figures whos stories might not be as well known. The workshop focuses on how to do this responsibly, with an eye to centering the stories of marginalized folks.

Strange things are afoot at the public-access TV station: disappearances & an untimely death throw the station (your home!) into jeopardy. Will the local TV Hosts be able to save the station?
Description:
Rules-light, d6 pool-based resolution system/homage to the personalities of 80s and 90s public access programming! Create a character based on your favorite local/public-access television hosts: campy horror show hosts; chill painting teachers; world-traveling chefs; high-octane fitness instructors are but a few ideas! Players will spend the first few minutes of the session building their characters and the town that we will be playing in.
