Axis & Allies War at Sea Naval Miniatures Tournament Round 1
Summary:
Players must bring a 60-pt. fleet of both Axis & Allied units. You will be provided 40 pts. of fleet units at the event to create your 100 pt. fleet.
Description:
An event where each player may play as many 1 on 1 games with other players registered in the tournament during the two 5 hour qualifying rounds on Thursday and Friday. The latest "Advanced Rules" will be used. The top 8 players with the best overall records after the 2 qualifying rounds will play in a Single Elimination (SE) round bracket on Saturday to determine the overall tournament winner. In each game played, players will earn new units to add to their current fleets. All miniatures you receive from this event are yours to keep. All fleets must be 100 pts. or less from the units you have earned from games played. You may interchange fleet units between games with your extra units and trading between other players in the tournament is strongly encouraged.

Victory Conditions: If your side controls 3 or more total Victory Cities than it started with (9 for the Axis & 10 for the Allies) at the end of a complete round of play (after the completion of the US turn) you win the war. If neither side has obtained the 3+ VCs within the time frame allotted, the side with the most VC (Victory Cities wins) since there are 13 VC; there cannot be a tie. So consider this when bidding.
