Decades ago, efreet found the bridge between worlds. The fire creatures sprang from the Great Forge and slaughtered the Everforge clan. The only survivor was the matriarch, Polla Everforge. Skilled in elemental magic, she severed the link and dismissed the rampaging efreet. But too late, the damage was done.
