After removing yourself from the wreckage you look out over the expanse of this densely packed terrain, struggling to see across the treetops through the cumbersome fog. Rain begins to fall. In the distance you just make out a glow of unnatural light. A promise of shelter perhaps? A place to rest and recoup before finding a way across the large distance that now lies between you and your home. You don't know what lies ahead in this swamp, though it seems forward is the only option.
