Sigmund's Cradle has long been a town that in under assault by dark and vile forces. These forces come and go over the ages, but one thing is for certain, children are always affected by these forces before anyone else. What could this vile force be? Can it be stopped? These questions have been asked over the ages and heroes have tried and failed, tried and died, or just simply left, but the people here are proud and seek to rid this land of their troubles. They have hired a group of stalwart adventurers to aid them in their struggle against the Darkness.

You find yourself among a group of hardened adventurers in the wild and magical west of Deadlands. With what faction do you associate? Who is the big, bad villain? I honestly don't know, but I hope you will come find out with me.
The group will blindly pick some booster packs from the CCG Deadlands: Doomtown. The group and the GM will use the cards from the packs to determine aspects of the story.
