This class will teach how to transfer an image onto leather and use the appropriate tools to bring that image into a basic 3 dimensional design on leather.

Attendees of this class are encouraged to bring their own simple artwork, or in the absence some will be provided to learnt he srt of tooling leather. By the end of the class the Attendees should have a knowledge of the basics of different leathers, how to work them, and amtheir own item to walk away with bearing their own work. Items previously done have ranged from dragging earings, to key fobs, toplacards, and even Bracers. For this leather will be provided and the attendee will be able to decide what to do what they wish with!

The class will cover the creation of a leather badge holder for the Gen Con badge that can be worn on lanyards

Attendees of this class will be utilizing hand tools to punch holes, bevel leather edges, install eyelets, hand sew, dye and seal leather to create their own custom leather convention badge holder.
