Join a squad of Rebel fighters as they attempt to disrupt the Empire's mining operations in a well timed attack against a defended shipyard. Prior X-Wing experience needed, but no experience with the Heroes of the Aturi Cluster (HotAC) system is needed. We will teach you the finer points of this cooperative, RPG style of play for X-Wing. All materials will be provided, including pre-configured Rebel fighters available to fly this mission. If you happen to be experienced with HotAC and already have a pilot/character, please feel free to bring them to the event and fly them. Experience Points (XP) will be pooled for all players to share and may be used to upgrade your pilot/ship for other HotAC missions our group is hosting.

Using the rules for the standard X-wing miniatures game, bring 300 points and play one on one for two rounds with a 30 minute break for lunch in between. Prizes will be distributed at the end of the event based on MOV. A limited number of small, large, and huge, LED modified ships will be available for players to borrow. ALLIANCES are encouraged. But remember, your ally WILL turn on you. FRIENDLY SHIPS - Since you can create alliances, you choose who is a friendly ship and will benefit from your abilities. Each player will get 21 points to spend on 1 Non-Unique Small-Base Ship. In the cornucopia you will have a chance to gain upgrades to help you defeat your opponents. Please bring your own ships and dials. If you do not have any ships/dials at the time of the event, a limited number can be provided but choices may be limited. Experience with X-Wing game mechanics recommended as there will be limited opportunity to teach the game on the fly
