This is the grand finale of the Mid America Gaming series (MAGS) tournament circuit. It's been a long road but now the final event is here. Players will play 6 rounds in two days of some of the most challenging and competitive games of Warhammer 40,000 for fantastic prizes and bragging rights to call themselves the MAGS Grand champion! This event is an ITC sanctioned event. Warhammer 40k 8th edition match play rules with Chapter Approved 2017 will be used and beta rules for match play. Players are allowed armies up to 2k points.

Description:
Mini-Stand is a reader for RFID tags. Glue the tag to the bottom of the miniature and place it on the Mini-Stand to instant scan all the unit information on a Bluetooth mobile device. At the end of the battle, scan the miniatures again to help you quickly calculate the point value of the remaining army. You can even use the RFID tag to create unique units/pieces to customize your own miniature or board game.

12 players split into teams of 6, with a maximum of 500 points per player for an apocalypse game that you could actually finish. We will be using a variant of the Apocalypse rules from Chapter Approved 2017, along with a custom scenario and custom set of maelstrom-of-war style objective cards. Each player must bring a battleforged army with a maximum of two detachments, a physical copy their army list, and all appropriate rules material for their army. Models must be painted to at least a 3-color standard; incomplete models or paint that show a lack of effort will have to sit this one out.

Description:
The Rainbow Warriors Project began as an idea to create an army of “Rainbow Warriors”, a faction of the mighty Space Marines featured in the Warhammer 40,000 universe. The goal was to promote inclusion and representation on the tabletop by featuring these powerful Mayan and Aztec influenced warriors of the “grimdark” future. Soon many talented painters and hobbyists throughout Twitter volunteered their skills and time donating, building and painting these colorful Space Marines. The project quickly grew, and the first massive Space Marine army was finished within a few months! The Rainbow Warriors Project hopes to promote tabletop wargaming as a friendly, welcoming environment for all people. By partnering with organizations that share this goal, the Rainbow Warriors Project donates fantastic painted armies, people and tabletop experience to bring the hobby to everyone!
