This adventure takes place during the Nguyen Dynasty. This dynasty ruled central Vi?t Nam from the ancient city of Hu?. Politics and political machinations are dangerous, not only to those who play the games but often to bystanders. The enemies of the Nguyen Dynasty have been looking for an opportunity to wrest power from them. The Chinese are looking southward. The Cham seek independence, ruling families from the north look to expand south, and ruling families in the south look to expand north. The young Prince is viewed as vulnerable. One enemy, at least, has decided that now is the time to remove the Prince from the board by any means necessary. Even if one of those means is consorting with demons. The slayer is called upon to fulfill her duty to her lord and save his son.

Inspired by The Dark Tower series by Stephen King, this one shot brings folks from worlds not too dissimilar from our own and thrusts them into the fantastical setting of The Dark Tower. No previous knowledge of the series is required. This session is designed to be role-play heavy, though there will, undoubtedly be combat at some point. Pre-gen characters will be provided. No rules knowledge is needed - it's a very lightweight system.
