Then you found poor Bernerd in a dreadful state. Unlikely it was bandits as to any eye Bernerd didn’t have items of worth. He lived by trading simple wood crafts for food and lodging; more than a couple of times in your own home. You have an ill feeling there are more dangerous folk than bandits about.
