You’ve painted a few minis, put the paint generally where you want it, and would like to take the next step. This class is for you. Emphasis is on key skills such as thinning paint for various uses, loading the brush, wet blending and layering, better detail, and some hints on making color choices that work. The class will be hands-on, with brushes, paint, and miniature you can use or bring your own primed mini and supplies.
Paint freehand details with confidence. Basic steps help make freehand details less intimidating to paint. Practice specific types of freehand details--line designs, heraldry, and weathering damage. Last part of the class covers intermediate-level freehand tricks like painting starfields on cloaks and embroidery on clothing. Miniature, paints, brushes, and handouts provided. Please bring your own miniature or brushes to work with if desired.
