This is an introduction session of Mobile Frame Zero for new players. Up to 4 players per table will face off in a simplified scenario with high-visibility units to learn the game. All models, dice, terrain and rules reference will be provided. MF0 is a wargame where players control teams of mechs (usually made of legos), each of which can equip up to 4 systems. Systems both serve as the unit's health pool, being destroyed and removed from the model by damage, and add different dice to the unit's dice pool when it is activated. Initiative is reaction based, where a unit that is attacked gets the next turn. I've made this sound very dry, but the game still has an active community 12 years after launch for a good reason! Come give it a try!

Description:
This is full battle session of Mobile Frame Zero, using slightly modified rules to play with 30mm and/or gunpla models. Up to 5 players will go through list building, assembling their team from provided components, and a full battle scenario. All models, dice, and terrain will be provided from the GM's collection. Due to the more delicate nature of bandai models, please allow the GM to conduct any unplanned rapid disassembly of your robots that occurs in the course of play - if you want to tear them apart, try the other sessions played with lego! Rules reference will be provided, but the session does not include time for detailed tutorials. Prior experience or a practice game before the con is highly recommended - tutorial events will be offered by the GM in other time slots.
