For the D&D Crowd: Bring Me a Problem I've Not Seen Before
Summary:
Each player brings me a problem. I meld the problems into one story. I've been doing this since Gen Con 13.
Description:
All you really need to play this game is pencil and paper and pizza. And in a pinch you can skip the pencil and paper. What kind of character do you want to play? Why is your character in this place at this time? What is your character’s name? I’ve been running this game since Gencon 13. Bring me a problem I haven’t seen before.
We are Agents of Chaos. We are not villains. We simply believe in survival of the fittest. We are the fittest. Come help us determine why these characters chose the low road.
Description:
We are Agents of Chaos. We are not villains. We simply believe in survival of the fittest. We are the fittest. Your laws do not apply to us. Each of these powered individuals was once a candidate for membership in the League of Heroes. Each chose another path. Come help us determine what happened. This game will start with the candidate contest and continue to the decision of the character to take the other path.
The train wreck released a gas that killed a lot of people, gave a few powers, increased powers for some who already had them.
Description:
The train wreck spread Power Gas over our small town. Power Gas makes people feel powerful, like they have super powers. They jump off buildings. They stand in front of cars. They die. The gas does give some people powers. And it increases powers for some people who already have powers. Looking for beginning super heroes willing to help clean up after the train wreck.
Our local super hero group is retiring. They want to vet replacements. You have earned the right to the final tests. You are good. But can you work with a group?
Every player gets a Ring of 3 Wishes to use to solve his problem. What problem? That's entirely up to you. Please step outside the city before using your 1st wish.
All you really need to play this game is pencil, paper, & pizza. (And in a pinch you can skip the pencil and paper). I will turn your problem into a story.
Hearing "No ladies allowed," Diana turned all the Huntsmen into women. She will restore them if they can duplicate the 12 Labors of Hercules. This game is set in our time, our world.
Description:
Diana, Goddess of the Hunt, came down to the Huntsman’s Club to congratulate them on a particularly fine season. At the door she was met by a polite, but firm, “I’m sorry, miss. No ladies allowed.” Diana turned the doorman into a toad and stomped him flat. Then she turned all the huntsmen into women. That was six months ago. Now Diana has agreed to restore the men if they can repeat the Twelve Labors of Hercules. This game is set in our time in our world. The six female characters must translate the twelve labors into modern terms. You might want to give that some thought before signing up. This is a role-playing game. No books. No dice. One or two players will advance to the INTERACTION FINALS on Sunday at 8 AM.
