It's winter 1964. Cold War is brewing between the USA and USSR. There's trouble in the Middle East and South-East Asia. It's less than a generation since the world was at war. On the US home front there are racially charged protests bordering on civil unrest. The PC's are Rogues. People who live on the other side of the law and polite society. Some justify their actions to themselves in some manner, others know full well that if it was someone else's story, they would be the villains. Through their investigations they have found out that the world is far more terrible than they have imagined/caused. There are Dark Forces just outside the perceptions of most people who mean to control mankind. The PC's have joined together in a loose confederation for mutual support as they decide what to do now that they know 'Things Not Meant To be Known.' Role Playing stressed over game mechanics.
