In the silence an elderly, but still hale, ratling with grayed muzzle and scarred ears slowly stands. He clears his throat to speak and looks out over the assembled ratlings, halflings, mousefolk, gnomes, and few dwarves.
"Yesterday an act so foul it defies explanation befell our family." his quiet voice begins and concerned looks are shared by the assembled folk.

So many many things he had gathered that were so beautiful but there is one that stands out even in that horde. A Kimono. A garment so stunning that grown men have been known to weep at the site of it. It is said that just one viewing of the flawless white silk fabric and fanciful embroidery leaves a permanent impression on the mind.

The world of Obveron is in a complicated state of affairs. Five nation states are on the brink of a world war thanks to economic and political issues, each of which have their own unique technology, weapons, and even professions. Explore this sci-fi, fantasy world inhabited by its own unique races and half-breeds, as well as a league of unique professions and abilities. Each nation provides for unique playstyles, adventures, and challenges that the players and the GM may decide upon. Based off the HARP system, this game also provides a well detailed system for all sorts of encounters and situations. The GM will provide for pre-made characters for an alpha test of currently developed mechanics and features.
In the midst of a dust storm the party stumbles upon an ancient burial ground of a decades-old battle, and something has upset the inhabitants!
Description:
Four hundred years ago: A battle was fought in a remote location, between forces following a dark god, opposed by an army led by priests and champions of a god of light. At the end of the battle, the victorious forces of the light gathered their wounded, and buried their dead. Twenty-five burial mounds were erected, and the army began the long march home. This out of the way site is mostly forgotten, except by a few scholars. This game may not run for 4 hrs but I have allotted extra time for discussions about the HARP system.
