Rules are not taught for this event. We will cover the variant rules that make the expanded player count work, and answer questions.
Simultaneous turns variant will be in use: There are two different pawns for the two active players, only one of which can research, and the other can buy ambassadors from Minor factions. The pawns can never be adjacent to one another (wait to pass).
Due to tile and space limitations, players may not explore Ring 5+ (you're going to have to interact with your neighbors). The Alliance rules will not be used (note that you can still exchange ambassadors).
In the event we have fewer than 10 players, standard map rules for the resultant player count will be used. Simultaneous play will only be used for 6+ players.
We will break for lunch after Round 4.
