Greystone Trade Cooperative caravans have been going missing along the High Road, along with caravans from other trade groups and the occasional traveler. The losses are strange because the High Road is well traveled and well patrolled by the Lords Alliance. The losses are ultimately negligible, yet the Baron considers the loss of any personnel to be unacceptable. Greystone will send a team undercover attached to a caravan to hopefully discover the cause of the disappearances and put a stop to them.

Lord Morgrim Ashland has engaged Greystone Ventures to escort his son on a manhood ritual practiced by the Ashland family. Fire Salamanders infest the area around the dormant volcano at the center of the Ash Lands, and the scions of the Ashland family must slay a salamander with their own hands to be considered a man. The only trouble is that Merrick Ashland is plump, bookish, and utterly hopeless with martial weaponry. Keeping him alive in the untamed Ash Lands will be a challenge in its own right. Rather than cede the year, Baron Greystone has decided to appoint a Greystone Ventures team to go in their place. The triathlon is a dinosaur death race, running through three sequential heats while mounted on dinosaurs on land, through sea, and over air. The panicked noble has promised a fortune to anyone who can stop Steelfists legions from besieging the city, and more importantly from capturing him and delivering him to Steelfist to answer for insulting Steelfists honor.
